FAQ
WHEN ARE DROP-INS?
Our casual drop-ins run weekly, usually on Thursdays, September through June. Each year during Pride month, we host an outdoor, officiated 3V3 tournament. If cost is a barrier for you, use a community sponsored PWYC pass at checkout.
NOTICE: Please be advised that by entering our spaces you are agreeing to being photographed and/or filmed, and the resulting assets may be used for marketing or promotional purposes. If you wish not to be photographed or recorded, please notify a Queer Dimes team member.
WHAT SKILL LEVEL DO I HAVE TO BE?
ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME. Our community includes those who once never stepped on a court, to those who have played extensively. We balance our teams as much as possible to provide fun competition for everyone. We know basketball can be intimidating, but not here. There is nothing you need to know to show up at a drop in, but new players are encouraged to review our Space Agreements and Basketball 101 before attending.
We trust our more skilled players to be responsible for reading the room, including new players in play and passing them the ball so they have the opportunity to grow. The more shots you take, the more shots you'll make (and we'll be cheering for you either way).

WHERE ARE RUNS HELD?
Locations will vary based on gym availability in Hamilton. Details are included in ticket confirmation emails.
CAN I BRING A SPECTATOR?
Yes! We welcome anyone interested to come sit on the sidelines and watch. They must check in at the door and abide by our Space Agreements to help us keep our space inviting for all. Please note we won't always have proper seating available for guests.
